On my way home today, the traffic announcement board said “Misplaced truck, exit 33, Rt. lane closed” I really, really would like to know what a misplace truck is. How the hell do you misplace a truck?

You know, Death Note is a prime example of detective fiction. Except that instead of trying to prove that events that seem supernatural always have a logical explanation, it involves a character trying to come to terms with the existence of the supernatural and the fallibility of logic. I wonder what Sherlock or Dupin would have thought of Kira?
