I’m going to have to go with Captain Mal on this one. He’s so protective of his crew and even when he screws up, he usually does his best for them. He doesn’t have much tact, and he can be an ass sometimes, but he tries.

I like Han as well, but he’s less of a marshmallow with a crispy exterior like Mal is.
